Website booking integrations for small businesses

Click and Mortar connects business websites to appointment booking tools so visitors can move from a service page to an available time. We review the scheduling rules, calendar ownership, confirmation steps, and fallback contact path before building the agreed integration.

    Is this the right fit?

For appointment-based businesses, consultants, and service teams whose customers must email back and forth to arrange a time, or whose existing booking link is difficult to find or use. The focus is scheduling; broader inquiry routing and sales follow-up can be scoped separately.

    What we can build together

    • A booking journey matched to the services or appointment types you offer
    • A booking link, embedded scheduler, or supported integration within the agreed pages
    • A review of calendar access, time zones, availability, and assignment rules
    • Clear confirmation, cancellation, rescheduling, and alternative contact information
    • Checks of mobile booking, unavailable times, and the agreed confirmation flow

    Three decisions before we start

Who can be booked, and for what?

Define appointment types, duration, team members, preparation time, and the information needed before a meeting. The scheduling tool must support the rules that matter to your business.

    Which calendar controls availability?

Confirm the calendar owner, working hours, time zones, and how existing appointments affect availability. A visible calendar needs usable times and a maintained account behind it.

What happens when booking is unavailable?

Give visitors a clear alternative when there are no suitable times or the scheduling service cannot load. Agree who handles those requests and how they are identified.

    How the work moves forward

    1. Walk through the current appointment process and identify where visitors get stuck.
    2. Confirm the scheduling tool, account permissions, appointment rules, and scope.
    3. Connect the selected booking experience to the relevant website pages.
    4. Check availability, mobile use, and the confirmation path with an agreed test appointment or provider test flow.

    Questions before you hire us

Can you use my existing scheduling tool?

That is the starting point. We check its account plan, website integration options, and calendar access before recommending changes. Bring the tool name and the appointment rules you need; support for a specific workflow must be verified.

Should the calendar be embedded or open on another page?

An embedded calendar can keep visitors on the site, while a direct booking link can simplify the page and use the provider's own booking experience. We compare the available options on mobile, including loading behavior, accessibility, and what happens if the provider is unavailable.

Can you support several services or team members?

Where the chosen tool supports it, the integration can direct visitors to different appointment types or team availability. Routing rules, shared calendars, and account-plan limits need to be agreed before the work is quoted.

    Are reminders and deposits included?

They can be considered when supported by the scheduling platform and included in the scope. You approve customer messages and any payment, cancellation, or refund terms. Provider fees and payment charges are separate, and taking deposits requires its own test plan.

How do you verify a booking integration?

We check that the destination loads, suitable appointment types and times are available, and the mobile journey is usable. With your agreement, a test booking can verify calendar creation and confirmations. A working button alone does not establish that an appointment was created.

Connect your website to your calendar

Bring your website URL, scheduling tool, appointment types, and the calendars involved. Describe who can be booked, when they are available, and what should happen if a visitor cannot find a suitable time.
